Don’t Work Harder, but Work Smarter with P90X
Tony Horton says it best when he tells you to not work harder, but work smarter. Ok, I don’t even remember if he actually says that in the dvd, but Jim Rome makes that statement in his commercials.
Do you go to the gym day after day and feel like you have just hit a wall? Do you look at other guys at the gym and wonder what you have to do to get to the point that they are at? Rock hard abs, and cut muscles.. Well then P90X might be something for you to check out.
I’m not going to lie to you, P90x is a hard workout…. but it is also a smart workout because it employs a method called “muscle confusion“. Muscle confusion is the idea that changing up your wokrout every day and every few weeks, will cause your muscles to respond more rapidly, which in turn will cause maximum growth in the shortest amount of time. This is how you get cut. Some people may say that muscle confusion is a myth, but in my testing of the P90x program, it is the real deal. I saw results in my 90 day workout that I had not seen in my previous year of going to the gym 5 days a week.
The P90X workout is great in that it allows you to do something different every day and then it switches up the routine every 30 days. You will never get bored while doing P90x. One important thing to remember when dong P90x is to give your self some rest. At least once a week. Either do yoga or take a day off, because this is the time that your muslces will truly grow and you will get that ripped look (eating a healthy diet is also a major factor, but that can be saved for another article…).
So if you are ready to take your workout to the next level, get off the couch or get out of the gym, and pop the P90x dvd set into your dvd player. Buy P90x cheap.
